Oversize Load Movement – Begins September 29, 30,2026 at 6 PM

A large oversize load will be traveling from Jay to South Portland beginning Tuesday evening, September 29. This move will take approximately two nights. This is the first of nine total oversize loads that will travel this route. Once the first load is delivered, a full schedule will be released for the remaining eight loads.

The transport convoy will be extremely long and wide, occupying most of the roadway.

Please do not park vehicles on the street along the route listed below. Any vehicles left on the roadway may interfere with the safe movement of the load.

Route: Riley Road → Crash Road → Route 4 → Route 117 → Route 26 → US 202 → Route 22 → US 1 → Broadway → Elm Street (South Portland)

Expect delays, slow‑moving traffic, and temporary road closures as the convoy passes through.

 The convoy will have their own team traveling ahead to lift wires and stop/direct traffic.
