Town of Paris Request for Proposals – Town Office Window Replacement

The Town of Paris is currently accepting proposals to replace all town office building windows to energy efficient vinyl replacement windows.

Site visits can be arranged by contacting Code Enforcement Officer Kingston Brown at 207-743-2501. The Paris Town office is located at 33 Market Square, South Paris, Maine.

Scope of Work:

Removal and disposal of current windows and installation of energy efficient vinyl replacement windows.

Work to be performed to all state and local codes/requirements.

Contractor responsible for protecting building and equipment and ensuring freedom of access to and from building during all business hours.

Insurance / Warranty:

Contractor shall be responsible for providing copy of liability insurance no less than $400,000. Health insurance or proof of workers comp insurance required as well.

Warranty shall be for no less than 1 year material and labor.

Bid Submittal Information:

Sealed bids must be received by the Town of Paris no later than 2 pm August 7th, 2018. Bids will be publicly opened at that time and referred to town staff for review. Action by the select board is anticipated at the board meeting on August 13th, 2018.

The Town of Paris reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bid proposals and reserves the right to what it deems best for the town, and to negotiate with the selected responsible bidder for any, or all of the work. Bids shall be sealed and clearly marked “Proposal for Town Office Window Replacement” and delivered to the Paris Town Office at 33 Market Square, South Paris, ME 04281.
