The Town of Paris is currently accepting applications for an experienced Bookkeeper/Human Resource Officer for a part time position now that will turn into a full time position starting July 1, 2019. This position is responsible for all aspects of town bookkeeping and human resources including but not limited to assisting with the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget; balancing general ledger accounts; financial reporting and year-end audit preparation; payroll; accounts payable; responsible for all monthly bank and trust funds reconciliations; tracking fixed assets; benefits administration; human resources and other duties listed within the job description. Qualifications for this position include a degree in accounting or related field or the equivalent in education and related work experience. Experience working in a municipality or other governmental entity with experience using Trio software preferred.
